A fun, fast-paced, and highly collaborative downtown real estate law firm is seeking aFinance Specialist / Collections Managerto join their growing team. What You’ll Do:Draft, execute, and maintain documentation for retainers, NDAs, vendor contracts, and internal agreements for the Managing Partner
File and support arbitration matters (NYCLA and AAA), including drafting narratives, tracking deadlines, calendaring, and attending hearings
Collaborate directly with the CFO on billing, payroll, collections, expense reconciliation, time entry, invoice generation, and financial reporting
Negotiate payment plans with clients to reduce delinquent accounts and implement proactive collections strategies
Maintain and update a comprehensive client database, tracking contributions and engagement to drive business optimization
Proven experience incollections, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
Experience supporting billing and finance functions including invoicing, A/R, payroll, and reconciliations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for client interactions and arbitration documents
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
A proactive, flexible attitude and the ability to thrive in a social, team-oriented office
Tech-savvy with comfort in using legal billing systems and Excel
Availability to workfully on-site, 5 days/weekin a dynamic and engaged team setting
