Quantitative Trader – Futures

My client, a top-tier quantitative hedge fund is seeking an experienced Quantitative Futures Trader to join its New York trading team. This is an opportunity to trade on a well-established, institutionally robust platform while retaining meaningful autonomy over strategy design and risk management.

The Role:

• Develop, implement, and manage systematic futures trading strategies
• Focus on commodity futures and/or credit futures markets
• Take ownership of your own risk within a disciplined, professional risk framework
• Leverage the firm’s existing trading, execution, and research infrastructure
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, technologists, and risk teams to refine and scale strategies

What They're Looking For:

• Proven track record trading commodity futures and/or credit futures strategies
• Strong quantitative background with a systematic, data-driven approach to markets
• Experience operating within a professional risk-managed environment
• Ability to independently generate, test, and deploy trading ideas
• Strong understanding of futures market microstructure and execution considerations
