Role
Description:
This position is based in New York City, NY (In‑office role). The candidate will work on the SP sales desk and be responsible for a range of sales and support activities, assisting the New York sales team in both agency mortgages and securitized products while growing the individual’s market and product knowledge.
Job Duties:
- Ideally 1-2 years of experience working in Sales & Trading (Analyst)
- Work with other New York team members to facilitate trade execution, provide client information, and assist with tasks in a timely manner
- Gain technical product knowledge to better understand Agency Mortgages & Securitized Products
- Work closely with Syndicate and Banking on New Issue transactions and relay appropriate information to clients
- Distribute trade recaps and work with trade support to ensure trades are captured promptly
- Assist with booking repo trades for clients
- Monitor credit limits for onboarded clients
- Work with the client valuations team to distribute month‑end valuations to accounts
- Help in the client onboarding process
- Participate in client entertainment
