Tax Manager​/Senior Manager

We are seeking a Tax Manager/Senior Manager to join our clients in-house tax team and oversee compliance, reporting, and planning for a sophisticated platform spanning real estate credit and equity funds. This role plays a key part in structuring, acquisitions, and tax strategy while helping build scalable processes for a growing investment platform. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, real estate tax experience, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage U.S. and international tax compliance for real estate funds and REITs
• Oversee preparation and review of partnership and corporate returns (Forms 1065, 1120-REIT, K-1s)
• Review REIT testing and manage correspondence with tax authorities
• Review complex partner allocations, including 743(b) and 704(c)
• Forecast taxable income and provide estimates to investors
• Support transaction structuring, acquisitions, financings, and dispositions
• Coordinate with external advisors on complex tax issues
• Partner with Investor Relations on tax information and investor inquiries
• Oversee distribution of tax documents through investor portals
• Supervise junior team members and lead process improvement initiatives

• 6–10+ years of Real Estate tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of partnership taxation, REITs, and fund structures
• Experience reviewing complex tax allocations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

• Experience with both credit and equity real estate strategies
• Exposure to open- and closed-ended real estate funds
• Process improvement or automation experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
