A well-established alternative investment platform focused on asset-backed and structured lending strategies is looking to add a Controller to its finance leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of fund accounting and reporting within a lean, highly collaborative environment, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee core fund accounting and financial reporting processes
- Support fund-level performance reporting and capital activity
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
- Participate in audit, regulatory, and valuation-related processes
- Serve as a key finance partner to stakeholders across the business
- 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or finance within alternative investments or credit-focused strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong experience owning shadow books and records
