We're seeking someone to join Finance Risk & Assurance (Fin Ria) team as a Vice President to play a pivotal role in steering non-financial risk management activities across the Finance division, with a dedicated focus on Wealth Management (WM) and Investment Management (IM) Finance. Your expertise will be central to driving key initiatives such as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Operational Risk Governance, and the development of divisional reporting, metrics and risk monitoring processes.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources.
This is a Vice President level position within the Risk, Assurance, Governance & Control job family which provides oversight and monitoring of operational risk or third party/outsourcing for the global Finance division, validation and testing of financial and regulatory reports and reinforcement of regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.

What You'll Do InThe Role
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment
- Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them
- Act as a role model and culture carrier;
Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards - Lead key risk processes across WM and IM Finance functions within Finance, including RCSA, business continuity, information security, and other compliance activities
- Own and deliver high-impact initiatives, leveraging deep Finance expertise
- Oversee team members' preparation of risk reports and deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders within Finance and across the firm
- Supervise reporting of risk incidents within WM and IM Finance and perform thematic analysis to identify trends and recommend solutions
- Drive issue resolution and action planning within the Firm's risk inventory, with a focus on ISG Product Control and Valuation control processes and controls
- Identify emerging non-financial risks and assist senior management in developing mitigation strategies
The Role
- Advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment
- Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members
- Experience in Financial Services, with a background in WM or IM as a business and/or Finance division process and controls
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to distill complex issues into clear insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Initiative, independence, and strong time management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with tools like Power BI or Alteryx is a bonus
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
- Holds a relevant degree or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA)
- At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
