Senior Principal Consultant – KYC and Detections MAP Execution

The Senior Principal Consultant will lead the execution of the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Detections Management Action Plan (MAP) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and enhance the effectiveness of customer due diligence processes. You will work in a fast‑moving, innovation‑driven environment at Genpact, an advanced technology services and solutions company that delivers lasting value to leading enterprises globally.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Identification and Verification:
    Conduct thorough identification and verification of customers using reliable, independent source documents, data, or information.
  • Risk Assessment:
    Evaluate the risk level associated with each customer based on factors such as transaction patterns, geographic location, and business type.
  • Monitoring Transactions:
    Continuously monitor customer transactions to detect suspicious activities or anomalies that may indicate money laundering or other illicit activities.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of all KYC processes and report any suspicious activities to relevant authorities in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Compliance Management:
    Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to KYC and anti-money laundering (AML).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Educational Background:
    Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Previous experience in compliance, risk management, or financial services.
  • Knowledge of Regulations:
    Familiarity with AML regulations, KYC procedures, and relevant legal frameworks.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Strong analytical skills to assess risk levels and identify suspicious activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced

    Certifications:

    Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS).
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Proficiency in using compliance software and tools for monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders effectively.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$80,000 to $100,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.

Work‑from‑Anywhere Roles – Los Angeles, California‑based candidates are not eligible for this role. Richardson, Dallas, and other metro area candidates are eligible for role only.
