Senior Fund Accountant — Private Equity​/Private Credit

A leading global multi-strategy investment firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join the finance team supporting these new initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with complex closed-end structures, working alongside senior leaders as the firm expands its footprint across private markets.

What You’ll Do

• Support day-to-day fund accounting and reporting for private equity and private credit vehicles.
• Partner with external administrators to reconcile NAVs, capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, and valuations.
• Prepare financial statements, investor reports, and support audit and tax processes.
• Work closely with investment, operations, and legal teams throughout the deal lifecycle — from investment to exit.
• Assist in designing and improving processes, systems, and controls to scale a growing platform.
• Contribute to automation and technology implementation projects for efficiency and transparency.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of Big 4 public accounting experience OR experience in fund accounting for private equity, private credit, or other closed-end structures.
• Knowledge of capital activity accounting (calls, distributions, waterfalls) and fund-level reporting.
• Strong technical accounting and Excel skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, build-focused environment.
