Assistant Controller​/Controller

A leading investment firm is seeking an Assistant Controller/Controller to join its finance team and support the day-to-day accounting and reporting of hedge fund vehicles. This role offers strong exposure to the full fund lifecycle and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

• Prepare and review daily, monthly, and quarterly NAV calculations
• Perform daily P&L, cash, and position reconciliations
• Oversee trade capture validation and resolve breaks with prime brokers and administrators
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Review investor allocations, capital activity, and expense accruals
• Liaise with external fund administrators, auditors, and internal operations teams
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and process improvement initiatives

• 5+ years of hedge fund accounting experience (fund, administrator, or asset manager)
• Strong understanding of NAV, P&L, and trade lifecycle processes
• Experience working with fund administrators and prime brokers
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred (or in progress)
• High attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
