Aurelian is seeking an Executive Financial Partner / Head of Finance to lead the firm’s financial strategy across the holding company and its portfolio of asset subsidiaries.

This is a partner-level leadership role for a senior finance executive experienced in complex, asset-centric structures. The role is central to Aurelian’s value creation model and will shape how capital is structured, governed, and deployed across multiple stakeholders and entities.

You will work directly with the Managing Partner and operating leadership, serving as the firm’s senior financial authority across transactions, portfolio strategy, and asset monetization events.

• Financial Architecture & Structuring
  • Design and oversee financial structures across asset-level subsidiaries and the holding company.
  • Define and manage capital flows between development partners, asset subsidiaries, and Aurelian Hold Co.
  • Establish and govern financial frameworks supporting asset advancement and strategic outcomes.
• Financial Leadership & Governance
  • Build and oversee asset-level and portfolio-level financial models covering development costs, milestones, commercialization ramp, and monetization scenarios.
  • Implement governance, reporting, and control frameworks appropriate for multi-entity operations.
  • Manage portfolio-wide financial planning across assets with staggered timelines and risk profiles.
• Partner & Stakeholder Interface
  • Serve as the primary financial counterpart to capital partners and development partners.
  • Support diligence processes, negotiations, and execution of complex transactions.
  • Translate clinical, regulatory, and commercial milestones into clear financial narratives.
• Strategic & Portfolio Advisory
  • Advise on asset selection, sequencing, and capital allocation.
  • Partner with leadership on long-term platform strategy, scalability, and capital recycling.
  • Contribute to decisions around timing and structure of asset monetization events.

• 8+ years of senior experience in biopharma finance, structured finance, healthcare investing, or asset-focused operating roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex financial structures involving multiple stakeholders and entities.
• Strong understanding of drug development economics and early commercialization dynamics.
• Experience operating in lean, high-accountability environments.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance precision, flexibility, and speed.

Compensation may include:

• Deferred compensation tied to pre-capital and structuring activities
• Post-transaction cash compensation
• Equity in holding company & carried interest in assets bridged.
