YOUR IMPACT
Apex is looking for a hard‑working, organized and client‑friendly individual with strong communication skills who will utilize expertise in private markets to drive conversations and cultivate relationships with the firm’s largest family offices, while also expanding on firmwide partnerships with Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) and other divisions. The individual will help to source and champion differentiated investment opportunities across asset classes and deal structures, with an emphasis on private and growth equity, venture capital, structured credit and real estate.
Job DescriptionAs a member of the Apex team, you will leverage your private‑markets expertise to engage large family‑office clients, expand partnership opportunities with Private Wealth Advisors, and source high‑quality investment opportunities across a range of asset classes. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal teams to ensure the delivery of differentiated, bespoke investment products to our clients.
How You Will Fulfill Your Potential- Develop connectivity within the Firm to source and deliver differentiated and bespoke private equity, fixed income and alternative investment products to clients.
- Work closely on business development initiatives including managing client‑related events, spearheading product development, improving sourcing channels, and creating scalable solutions.
- Champion select investments through due diligence committee and review processes internally.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ interests and preferences to ensure customized execution.
- Communicate investment opportunities with sales teams and directly to Apex clients.
- Prepare business reviews and strategic updates for senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree Required.
- Demonstrated orientation toward and interest in understanding financial markets with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience; preferably related to investment banking, private or growth equity or wealth and asset management.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Demonstrated history of commercial prowess and success.
- Ability to excel in a strategic and entrepreneurial business.
- SIE, Series 7 and 63 preferred (within 3 months).
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Power Point and CRM.

SalaryRange
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States‑based position is $75,000–$125,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of the fiscal year‑end.
