Overview
Senior Accountant – Crypto Trading Firm (NYC, In-Office) We are partnering with a profitable, founder-led crypto trading and technology firm seeking a Senior Accountant to enhance their finance function amid sustained growth. This pivotal role combines traditional accounting expertise with exposure to digital assets in a dynamic, collaborative environment committed to excellence.
Responsibilities- Manage month-end close processes and US GAAP financial reporting
- Oversee multi-entity accounting across various jurisdictions
- Handle fiat operations, including banking, payments, and reconciliations
- Develop and optimize crypto accounting workflows
- Coordinate with external tax and accounting advisors
- Support the transition from outsourced to in-house finance operations
- Strengthen internal controls, systems, and documentation
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, controllership, or corporate finance
- Strong foundation in US GAAP
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting
- Ability to excel in fast-paced, evolving settings
- Crypto experience preferred but not required
- CPA certification or audit background advantageous
