Special Situations Senior Associate​/Vice President

A value-oriented private equity firm focused on lower middle-market and middle-market buyouts and special situations is seeking a Senior Associate/Vice President to join its investment team.

An emerging alternative asset manager with over $200 million of equity capital deployed across middle-market investments.

• Underwrite and evaluate lower middle-market and middle-market investment opportunities.
• Conduct financial analysis and diligence in partnership with third-party advisors.
• Manage outsourced modeling and presentation work streams.
• Support deal execution, structuring, and closing.
• Assist with portfolio monitoring and value-creation initiatives.
• Contribute to sourcing and business development efforts, including conference participation.
• Prepare investment materials and present to the Investment Committee.

• Prior experience in private equity or a highly analytical investing role.
• Strong underwriting, financial analysis, and diligence capabilities.
• Experience working in a rigorous, value-oriented investment environment.
• Ability to manage third-party advisors and outsourced modeling and materials.
• Comfort evaluating complex or special situations transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building an emerging platform.
