Tax Manager or Director

We’re hiring for Tax Managers and Directors across several NY offices (NYC, Long Island, White Plains). The firm are a top-choice for accounting professionals across the tri-state area and are a force in the NY market.

• Team Leadership: Mentor and oversee Tax Seniors, Semi-Seniors, and Associates to ensure high-quality output and career growth.
• Engagement Management: Drive projects to completion within budgetary constraints and strict deadlines.
• Client Advisory: Serve as a year-round consultant, proactively discussing tax implications and information needs with clients.
• Technical Excellence: Stay at the forefront of the industry through continuous research, training, and participation in professional forums.
• Risk & Strategy: Identify potential tax risks and collaborate on strategic, research-backed solutions for complex issues.

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a heavy emphasis on technical review and team supervision.
• Technical Mastery: Generalist experience is super beneficial. Alongside experience in C-Corps, Partnerships, and HNW/Trusts. Experience with M&A, restructuring, and multi-state/international tax is also valued.
• Credentials: Active CPA license and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting are preferred.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead multiple simultaneous engagements in a fast-paced environment.
