Assistant Controller | Generational Scaleup

Remote, New York (option for hybrid NY office based working)

$200k - $220k + stock options

Key responsibilities:

• Lead multi-entity month end close process with analysis and commentaries
• Own audit process under PCAOB standards
• Increase strength of management and Board reporting
• Continue to evolve and streamline Group processes and controls
• Support Product & Engineering functions on process automation
• Partner cross-functionally, particularly with Legal, Rev Ops, FP&A and Tax
• Develop and mentor a Group Control team

Candidate profile:

• Combination of hyper-growth Series A-D scaleup experience (preferably SaaS, however this is non-essential), coupled with pre-IPO or public-company exposure
• Strong US GAAP and ASC 606 grounding, with exposure to leading PCAOB processes (outside of Big
  4)
• Experienced with building automation-first processes and controls
• Established and credible business partner who is able to advise, challenge and influence
• Ability to work autonomously and independently
