A respected public accounting firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their growing team.
This role is perfect for a tax professional with a strong background in high-net-worth (HNW) individual tax matters and corporate returns
, who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
- Manage and review complex 1040s, corporate, and partnership returns
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HNW clients, providing tax planning and strategy
- Supervise and mentor junior staff; lead performance reviews and training
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on evolving tax laws
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client service, workflow, and business development
- CPA license required
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Expertise in HNW individual and corporate tax returns
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
