Our client, a leading international commercial real estate consulting and project management firm, is expanding rapidly in North America and is seeking a Head of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership during this period of accelerated growth. This role will serve as a key member of the U.S. executive leadership team with matrix reporting to international executive management, partnering with both national and global stakeholders.
The Head of Finance NA will oversee all finance and accounting functions while driving improvements in processes, systems, and governance to support scalable operations. The successful candidate will deliver strategic financial insights that enhance profitability, strengthen operational performance, and prepare the organization for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all finance functions, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow management, and capital structure.
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate reporting.
- Drive strategic planning, investment decisions, and profitability, coaching leaders on KPIs and budgets.
- Support post-acquisition integration and funding strategies for development and acquisition projects.
- Introduce and adapt project controlling frameworks.
- Manage financial and operational risk while implementing best practices and controls.
- Lead teams and projects, delivering insights, coordinating resources, and maintaining stakeholder alignment.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA is desirable.
- 10+ years in senior finance roles with experience in FP&A, budgeting, and reporting.
- Proven experience in professional services, consulting, engineering or project-based business models.
- Experience in M&A integration support.
- Expertise in implementing scalable financial systems, ERP platforms, and automation tools.
- Global business perspective with matrix organization and dual reporting experience. European parent company experience strongly preferred.
- Strategic leader skilled at building high-performing teams, influencing across geographies, and connecting financial insights to business strategy.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical skills and ability to thrive in fast-changing environments.
