Corporate Accounting Manager

Our client, a high-growth corporate services firm ($100M+ in revenue) backed by a premier private equity firm, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. As an Accounting Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the company’s financial operations — driving accuracy, insight, and efficiency across accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This individual will be instrumental in scaling processes, strengthening internal controls, and supporting data-driven decisions across the business.

This is a newly created role (addition to staff) that reports directly to the Controller and CFO. You’ll have a direct seat at the table with senior leadership and tangible opportunities to shape the firm’s financial future.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee AP/AR review, cash management, banking activities, and asset accounting while partnering cross-functionally to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses, budget variance reviews, and cash flow assessments to support strategic planning.
• Partner with the Controller and CFO to deliver actionable financial insights and support key business initiatives.
• Develop, document, and maintain accounting processes and internal control procedures.
• Support and mentor accounting staff, contributing to professional growth and process consistency.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP and internal audit standards.
• Lead or assist with special projects, process improvements, and system enhancements as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required;
  Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
• 6–10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with strong knowledge of GAAP and full financial statement ownership.
• Experience with Net Suite ERP and Salesforce preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
