Are you ready to take your expertise in market risk to the next level? We’re seeking a Market Risk Analysis & Reporting Team Specialist (VP) to join a growing team that plays a critical role in analyzing and monitoring market risk reports, providing insights, and driving enhancements in reporting processes.

This role is part of the Daily Market Risk Analysis & Reporting Team within the Enterprise Risk Stripe of the Risk Management Department Americas Division. You’ll work closely with seasoned market risk professionals, providing analysis and commentary on risk reports, supporting new product onboarding, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform market risk analysis and monitoring tasks for internal stakeholders.
• Provide commentary explaining changes in market risk report results.
• Support onboarding, testing, and implementation of new product risk factors.
• Drive enhancements to improve risk reporting aggregation and processes.
• Prepare materials for risk committee meetings and internal stakeholders.
• Provide regular status updates to management and escalate issues as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with market risk reporting documentation.

Requirements

• Approximately 7 years of experience in market risk analysis and monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Preferred:
  Prior experience in market risk reporting roles.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python, R, C++).
• Basic understanding of financial products and their risks (interest rate swaps, swaptions, caps/floors, corporate bonds, CDS, Treasuries).
• Familiarity with databases such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
• Proficiency in VBA and visualization tools (Power BI, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Basel 2.5 and Basel III regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve reporting and monitoring issues.
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Team player with a positive, collaborative mindset.
