Trader, Financial Consultant, Financial Analyst

Trader (Associate or Senior Associate level) for a confidential, sophisticated investment organization focused on disciplined secondary‐market execution and portfolio exits. This role is hybrid or onsite in New York and offers meaningful ownership over execution strategy in partnership with senior investment leadership.

This is a high‑impact trading role centered on executing secondary‑market transactions across public and semi‑liquid securities. The Trader will own execution quality—assessing liquidity, managing risk, and delivering disciplined exits in dynamic market environments. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, precision, and the confidence to operate independently in fast‑moving markets.

• Execute trades in public equities and semi‑liquid securities with disciplined attention to liquidity, market impact, and risk
• Independently design and implement sell‑down and exit strategies aligned with portfolio objectives
• Conduct real‑time market analysis across volume, volatility, and liquidity to optimize execution timing
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, internal controls, and execution documentation
• Deliver rigorous post‑trade analysis, execution reporting, and performance insights
• Help refine and standardize internal trading frameworks, playbooks, and best practices

• Proven, hands‑on experience executing trades in public equities or semi‑liquid markets
• Demonstrated ability to assess liquidity, manage execution risk, and minimize market impact
• Strong command of market structure, order types, and execution mechanics
• Track record of independently managing trades from strategy through post‑trade analysis
• Clear, confident communicator able to articulate execution decisions to investment leadership

The base salary range for this role is $125,000–$170,000
