Review, refine, and enforce best‑in‑class internal controls, financial policies, and standard operating procedures to enhance audit readiness (e.g., SOC 2, pre‑IPO) and mitigate risk.
- End‑to‑End FP&A:
Own the full FP&A lifecycle, including the creation, maintenance, and defense of the annual budget, operating plan, and long‑range financial model. - Performance Metrics & KPIs:
Define, implement, and track the key operational and financial KPI frameworks (e.g., SaaS metrics, unit economics, payback periods) that drive company performance and accountability. - Commercial Strategy:
Partner deeply with Product and Go‑To‑Market teams to develop and refine pricing strategies, business models, and contract terms to optimize profitability and customer lifetime value (LTV). - Forecasting & Variance Analysis:
Design and implement robust, driver‑based forecasting and lead variance analysis to ensure the business meets its financial commitments.
- Experience:
10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior finance leadership role at a venture‑backed, high‑growth startup (Series B‑D preferred). - Technical Rigor:
