The OpportunityOn behalf of our client, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Investment Banking Analyst, Associate, and VP to join their Financial Institutions Group in the US. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior bankers to deliver strategic advisory services to clients within many sub-sectors including Asset Management, Insurance & Insurance Services, Mortgage Services, Specialty Finance, Capital Markets, Banking, and Financial Technology.
The firm works on some of the most high-profile transactions in the space, mainly within mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including valuation modeling (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis), market research, and due diligence.
- Prepare high-quality pitch books, teasers, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), and client presentations.
- Support end-to-end deal execution, from origination to closing, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.
- Build and nurture relationships with financial sponsors and key industry stakeholders.
- Work seamlessly with global teams to deliver integrated, cross-border solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
- 2-7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field, ideally with exposure to financial institutions.
- Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
