Private Equity Associate - Media

We are partnering with a leading middle market private equity firm to hire a Private Equity Associate to join its investment team in New York. The firm specializes in control oriented investments across the media and entertainment space with a strong track record of partnering with management teams to scale high quality platforms.

• Evaluate new investment opportunities across media, entertainment, consumer, and communications sectors
• Build and maintain detailed LBO, operating, and valuation models
• Conduct commercial, financial, and strategic due diligence
• Support transaction execution from initial screening through closing
• Work closely with senior investors and management teams during diligence and post close
• Assist with portfolio company monitoring, strategic initiatives, and add on acquisitions
• Prepare investment committee materials and internal memoranda

• 1 to 2 years of investment banking experience from a top tier or strong middle market platform
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set
• Exposure to media, entertainment, consumer, communications, or technology sectors is preferred but not required
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Self motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Clear communicator with professional presence
