Location: New York
The Loan Officer Assistant will support a New York–licensed mortgage broker owner by managing borrower documentation, data entry, and loan file preparation from application through submission. This role requires strong attention to detail, understanding of income calculations, and strict adherence to NYS DFS and federal compliance standards. The LOA does not originate loans or provide rate or product advice.
Required Qualifications- Prior experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Processor, or Mortgage Admin
- Strong understanding of income calculations and documentation requirements
- Familiarity with NY mortgage compliance standards
- Experience with LOS platform Arive
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple files, deadlines and work under pressure
