Assistant Controller- Private Equity & Credit

A top-tier alternative investment manager has an immediate opening for an Assistant Controller – Private Equity & Credit, offering a unique opportunity to take ownership of complex fund accounting and financial oversight across a rapidly expanding platform. This role provides hands‑on exposure to senior management, portfolio managers, and high‑profile private equity and credit strategies in a dynamic, growth‑driven environment.

• Serve as a key member of the finance team with responsibility for accounting and financial reporting oversight for pre‑IPO equity and credit funds
• Oversee the fund administrator in the preparation of quarterly financial statements, capital account statements, capital call notices, and distribution notices
• Monitor and ensure compliance with fund credit facilities through detailed interpretation of credit agreements and in‑depth knowledge of portfolio assets
• Review and analyze distribution waterfalls in accordance with governing fund and partnership agreements
• Evaluate partnership‑and‑fund‑level IRRs on a quarterly basis and perform ad hoc performance calculations as needed
• Review and validate management fee calculations

• 4+ years of Big 4 public accounting and private credit/ private equity fund accounting experience
