AboutThe Role
We are involved in complex, global and high-profile corporate and transaction advisory engagements, disputes and investigations combining technical accounting, finance and risk advisory and investigative expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our clients.
FTI is looking for accounting professionals with five or more years of technical accounting and related experience. As a Directory you will be responsible for providing technical accounting and finance advisory services and other analytical skills to clients.
What You’ll Do- Supervise and lead day‑to‑day activities of projects including interaction with client personnel, other team members, and professionals from other firms involved in technical accounting and finance advisory, transaction advisory, risk and investigations, and other forensic and litigation consulting engagements.
- Perform technical accounting and financial analysis and assist clients with analyzing and documenting complex issues.
- Organize information to facilitate effective data access and analysis.
- Perform technical accounting research utilizing online tools and publicly available information, assist in preparing analyses, reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties, and develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
- Apply accounting, financial, and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines, including the application of US GAAP, IFRS and SEC requirements.
- Manage engagements and perform Project Management Office (PMO) functions, including managing and reporting progress versus project scope and/or results of activities.

What You Will Need To Succeed- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or related business field
- Certified Public Accountant or foreign equivalent with strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and SEC requirements
- 5+ years of relevant post‑graduate professional experience in technical accounting and audit
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; this position will not sponsor applicants for work visas
