NYC Risk Manager - Global Hedge Fund - $500k+ TC
A leading, multi-strategy hedge fund are looking to make a key Risk Manager hire. The firm have achieved excellent performance and continue to grow, making newly created hires such as this.
This hire will take ownership of their new fixed income desk, which is rapidly expanding. The role combines a hands‑on risk management remit and a key strategic angle. You will work on key projects to automate and improve many processes that are currently sat within the market risk / front office function. The risk management remit will expose you heavily to the investment team that you face off to, whilst the automation element will develop your programming skills, in particular Python, R and SQL.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a step up and take ownership of a desk for one of the top‑performing hedge funds in Europe.
Candidates must also have strong coding skills in at least one language. 5+ years fixed‑income experience, in a risk management capacity, is also essential.
A high performer will receive a total compensation package that is comfortably in the upper quartile of what London hedge funds pay Risk Manager.
