Position Summary

MUFG is seeking a VP to join the Securitized Products Group to help originate and execute warehouse and term ABS issuance opportunities and transactions in off‑the‑run asset classes, including aviation, containers, venture debt andン recurring revenue loans, data centers, and others.

Responsibilities
  • Develop pitch book materials to support transaction pipeline
  • Support and execute all aspects of transactions, including review and analysis of portfolio‑specific data and cash‑flows, coordinate internal processes related to warehouse financing and all transaction parties and execute warehouse and term ABS transactions
  • Aid senior team members in relationship development with clients, including responding to requests, generating detailed analyses and in‑person meetings
  • Oversee and train analyst colleagues to complete pitches and execute transactions
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including credit risk, syndicate, sales and trading teams and with third parties such as legal counsel, accountants, rating agencies and investors to execute transactions
  • Participate in special assignments and projects as required
  • Qualifications
    • A bachelor’s degree or higher
    • A minimum of 5 years related ABS work experience
    • Prior ABS banking experience required. Experience in non‑traditional ABS is preferred, but not required
    • Expert understanding of ABS transaction structures and processes
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Results‑driven, with a strong sense of accountability
    • Ability to learn new asset classes quickly
    • Strong decision‑making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgment
    • A pro‑active, motivated approach, and ability to take ownership of projects
    • The ability to operate with urgency and prioritize work accordingly
    • A creative and innovative approach to work
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)

    The typical base pay range for this role is between $215K - $275K depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
