ClientOur client, a leading alternative asset manager out of the New York City area, is looking to hire a Portfolio Reporting Associate/Senior Associate for their team, being part of the function that oversees the firm's Commercial Real Estate Debt Portfolio. Apply now!
A successful candidate will act as an agile, key member of the Portfolio Reporting team, responsible for analyzing and reporting on a global CRE credit portfolio. Working hand-in-hand with asset management, originations team, investor relations, legal, and other external parties, this opportunity provides individuals a firsthand view into the various reporting and accounting aspects of the portfolio, while also learning about the broader business.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on the current CRE debt portfolio
- Manage ongoing and ad-hoc portfolio analysis and reporting requests
- Maintain and enhance internal reporting tools and dashboards
- Track key loan and risk metrics, including LTV, DSCR, debt yield, and performance status
- Partner with Asset Management, Finance, Investments, and Investor Relations teams
- Coordinate with third-party servicers for portfolio data and reporting support
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
- 3-6 years of finance experience; particularly in real estate, asset management, portfolio reporting or a related field
- Strong technical and analytical acumen, flexibility within differing systems or information technologies (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Strong interest in credit/real estate markets/CRE markets as a whole
- Individual must be able to navigate various internal departments, working collaboratively with both US-based and international team members
- Nimble, flexible, adaptable, able to run their own projects and manage tasks through ownership & accountability
