Job Overview: The Accountant will play a crucial role in the finance department, responsible for managing and reporting on the financial activities of the organization.

The role includes a range of tasks including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.

Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor and report variances from the budget.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audit processes. Prepare necessary documentation and respond to audit inquiries.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable. Ensure timely processing of invoices and collection of payments.

Payroll Administration: Assist in processing payroll in a timely manner.

Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to identify and resolve variances, inefficiencies, and to improve financial performance.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations. Ensure financial policies and practices comply with regulatory standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. [

Proven experience as an accountant.
