FX Salesperson, Director

Citi Financial Group is seeking a Director level Salesperson to lead its Institutional FX Sales team in New York. The role combines global client coverage with cross‑product thought leadership to drive the firm’s FX and macro strategy.

• Actively cover a portfolio of global institutional clients, including asset managers and hedge funds.
• Build and maintain strong relationships at multiple levels of the organization, working closely with desk, global coverage, and product partners.
• Coordinate and deliver thought leadership resources to support the desk’s strategy and enhance client coverage.
• Communicate regularly on business performance, market themes, successes, and issues to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Develop and mentor junior talent to build future coverage capability.
• Stay current on regulatory and industry changes, maintaining a competitive advantage for the firm.
• Adhere to and cascade FXLM supervisory training and tools, fostering a culture of responsibility to clients, shareholders, and colleagues.

• 10+ years of experience covering FX in the hedge fund and leveraged client environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence executive leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of leveraged and asset management industries and front‑to‑back processes.
• Exceptionally strong derivatives knowledge and experience, with proven track record of successful leveraged FX client coverage.
• Proven product and solutions skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate with product and functional partners.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
