Position: Vice President, Alternative Investments, Manager Due Diligence (NY, New York City)
Location: New York

This role encompasses leading sourcing, evaluation and analysis of prospective fund investments, direct deals and co-investments for our Family Office Alternative Investment Platform. This includes sourcing deals and funds across asset classes including but not limited to private equity, venture, private credit, real assets, as well as inbound requests and working with our 3rd party providers to build out and oversee our direct deal and co-investment roster.

The role may also include strategic initiatives and projects to enhance the alternatives platform.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify and originate compelling private investment opportunities with GPs and sponsors through managing and accessing inbound requests and client sourced deals
  • Lead end-to-end due diligence efforts, financial, operational and strategic, for direct deal selection across asset classes
  • Collaborate with all current and future 3rd party due diligence partners
  • Portfolio oversight – monitor performance and valuation of alternative investments and provide ongoing updates to internal teams and clients
  • Assist in marketing of direct and co-investment opportunities for the Alternatives Platform
  • Provide written content on investment opportunities
Skills & Qualifications
  • 10-15 years of relevant investment experience within private markets, family office, fund of funds or institutional allocator environment
  • CAIA or CFA Preferred
  • Extensive Knowledge of the alternative landscape including individual asset classes/strategies
  • Demonstrated track record of sourcing, underwriting and managing private Investments
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills

Salary: $200,000 – $300,000 annually, based on experience.
