Mid-Level to Senior Corporate Asset Finance Associate | New York
Our AmLaw 100 client is seeking an experienced associate to join its New York–based asset finance practice. This is a core group within the firm’s corporate platform, handling sophisticated finance work for leading financial institutions and industry participants.
The practice advises on complex asset-backed and aviation financings and remains consistently active across market cycles. Associates are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy and judgment.
The Role- Lead and support asset finance transactions with a meaningful aviation finance focus
- Advise lenders, borrowers, or both on domestic and cross-border financings
- Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents
- Coordinate directly with clients and counter parties
- Securitization exposure is valued but not required
- JD class years 2017–2022
- Substantial asset finance experience from a peer firm
- Demonstrated aviation finance exposure
- Comfortable running deal components independently
- Sound commercial instincts and strong drafting skills
- High-caliber finance work with repeat institutional clients
- Partners who remain directly involved in transactions
