Securities & Derivatives Senior Analyst

Overview:

• Global Financial Firm has an immediate contract opportunity.
• This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
• Reliable internet, computer, and Android or iPhone required for remote access.
• Expected in-office presence 3 days a week, as per team requirements.
• Video/face-to-face interviews required prior to all offers.

Responsibilities:

• Process cash payment transactions related to Securities Clearance Settlement and Derivative Operations.
• Formulate procedures and contribute to new techniques to increase team productivity and meet performance goals.
• Escalate control gaps and issues to senior management as needed.
• Identify control gaps during the settlement cycle and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
• Analyze data to identify control deficiencies and resolve issues by implementing appropriate procedures.
• Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and maintain ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Securities or Derivatives Settlement payment processing.
• In-depth knowledge of settlement cycle concepts and procedures.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
