- Financial Advisory: BM&A operates in France and internationally, with multidisciplinary teams supporting clients throughout the entire investment cycle (Transaction Services, Financial Valuation & Modelling, Restructuring & Underperformance).
- Operational Support & Consulting: BM&A mobilizes a team of 100 experts and operational specialists to deliver client projects and produce financial information.
- Risk Management & Compliance:
Our multidisciplinary team provides customized and operational solutions, by assembling the right skills tailored to each situation.
We have offices in France (Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Rennes, and Aix‑en‑Provence), London, and a newly established subsidiary in New York City.
About the US Team :
The New York office is looking to expand its team specializing in Financial Advisory and Audit, which currently consists of four people, including two partners.
You will take part in an entrepreneurial project by contributing to the development of our recently established New York subsidiary. As part of an experienced team made up entirely of former Big Four professionals, you will have the opportunity to help expand our activities in the French‑American market (cross‑border transactions, audits of U.S. subsidiaries of French groups, operational support).
Job Description :
At BM&A, audit and Financial Due Diligence work in synergy, and most team members are involved in multiple areas of expertise, working cross‑functionally in balanced proportions.
Key Responsibilities – Your day‑to‑day may include:
- Supporting audit engagements by:
- Participating in the review of internal control procedures
- Executing audit procedures, including testing of controls, substantive testing, and analytical procedures
- Auditing transaction cycles, including cash, purchasing & accounts payable, revenue & accounts receivable, investments, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses
- Documenting work performed, findings, and conclusions in an organized and clear manner
- Assisting in preparing audit reports and conclusions
- Supporting financial due diligence assignments (buy‑side and sell‑side transaction) by:
- Analyzing financial statements, cash flows, and income statements.
- Assisting in the preparation of client reports.
- Staying informed on current economic developments relevant to clients’ businesses and industries
Requirements – You have the following technical skills, qualifications and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
- First experience in Audit or Financial Due Diligence is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future (no visa sponsorship available for this position)
- French language skills are a plus
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to travel as needed
