Financial Analysis and Reimbursement Manager

Rome Health is seeking a Finance Manager. This individual will report to the Controller and will be supervising and directing a team of analysts tasked with financial analysis and reporting for the Hospital. They will oversee all aspects of data compilations and reconciliation relating to the preparation and accumulation of data for the New York State Institutional Cost Report and Medicare Cost Report.

Oversee and manage the preparation of data and projections incorporated in the Hospital's Annual Budget. Assist in the preparation and filing on all required surveys for the Hospital. Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of required financial reporting and contributing to the Finance reports for the Board of Directors. Responsible for assisting with the Hospital 990 tax filing.

• Member of Hospital leadership;
  Leads team of analysts, ensures proper resources are allocated to meet deadlines, complete required reporting and foster team growth.
• Responsible for all aspects of the Hospital's business intelligence reporting. This includes Management and Productivity Reporting.
• Utilize all aspects of the hospital's data to generate reports and analyze data for use in Departmental profit and loss analyses.
• Directs and Manages completion of ICR exhibits to complete the annual Institutional Cost Report.
• Completes required surveys and hospital reporting including
  • Profit & Loss Statements -->
    Maintain on a timely basis
  • Budget revenue modeling, Manages the hospital annual budget completion, including volume based adjustments to annual revenue projections
  • Supports Hospital Audit requirements
  • Performa's (i.e. What ifs, New Services)
  • Assist with analysis with Reimbursement and ROI.
• Performs other functions for the Finance Department as assigned.

BS Degree in a business related field preferred.

5+ years performing hospital finance.

Financial Analytics / Business intelligence preferred.
