Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Reporting

A growing company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to lead and oversee all accounting operations. This full-time, senior-level role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in managing AP, AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, and overall financial oversight.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and capable of implementing and maintaining accounting systems and processes that ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank/credit card reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.

• Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy of all account balances.

• Monitor cash flow and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.

• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as needed.

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiencies in financial workflows.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting role.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting systems.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proven experience managing teams and working in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar).
