We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our fast‑paced team in Staten Island. This client‑facing role involves preparing and filing tax returns, analyzing financial statements, and advising clients on tax‑saving strategies. You will interpret and apply tax laws, ensure compliance, and provide clear explanations to clients while delivering exceptional service.

• Prepare and file individual and business tax returns accurately and timely
• Analyze financial statements and apply tax planning principles
• Interpret and apply tax laws and compliance requirements
• Advise clients on tax‑saving strategies and address concerns effectively
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and responsiveness

• 3–5 years of tax preparation experience
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• PTIN required
• Ability to work onsite daily in Staten Island office

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional tax certification (CPA, EA)
• Experience with Pro Series software
• Familiarity with tax law and compliance requirements
• 2+ years in a finance role

Hourly Rate: $25–$30 per hour (commensurate with experience)
