Japanese Bilingual Credit Officer
Major bank in NYC is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Credit Officer. This position requires the person to commute to office in a hybrid style.
Responsibilities- Review credit applications submitted by front office and prepare executive summaries and recommendations for senior management
- Analyze lending transactions and related financial products (derivatives, hedging, etc.)
- Assess financial performance, monitor risk events, and report key developments
- Support due diligence and deal structuring in collaboration with front office
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in credit risk (formal credit training preferred)
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance practices;
Bachelor’s degree required (MBA/CFA preferred) - Excellent analytical, IT, and communication skills
- Business-level Japanese preferred but not required
