Staff Accountant – Soni

Responsibilities:

• Support general ledger accounting activities for both the head office and domestic and international branch locations.
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely recording of transactions.
• Conduct expense variance analyses comparing actual results to prior year figures.
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax analyses and filings for multiple entities.
• Prepare schedules and analyses to support annual audits, including pension audits.
• Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Support the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Contribute to annual budget preparation and related financial planning activities.
• Coordinate with branch offices and internal departments to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
• Handle ad hoc projects such as real estate filings, government surveys, and special financial analyses.

Requirements:

• 3+ years general accounting experience
• GL & Month End close
• Bachelors in accounting/finance

• Soft skills, well spoken, ability to present data to legal teams

Compensation: $80,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
