The Opportunity

We are looking for a Financial Advisor to join our Retirement Advisor team and accelerate Retirable's growth. You will work with our Director of Operations to onboard new clients, help them achieve their retirement goals, and deliver life changing retirement advice to Americans in need.

We're seeking candidates with a natural ability to connect with people, a passion for financial planning, and experience with needs based selling. At Retirable, we're building tools to make planning easier and more accessible so you can focus on what you do best: building trusted relationships and delivering transformative advice.

What You'll Do

Guide Clients Through Life Changing Decisions

• Conduct comprehensive retirement planning consultations with pre-retirees and retirees
• Develop personalized financial strategies covering income planning, healthcare costs, and lifestyle goals
• Help clients navigate Social Security timing, Medicare options, and withdrawal strategies

Build Trusting Relationships

• Onboard new clients and provide ongoing support as their needs evolve
• Simplify complex financial concepts to help clients make confident decisions
• Create detailed financial plans and retirement income projections

Shape Our Growing Platform

• Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to improve advisor tools and client experience
• Provide feedback on workflows based on real client interactions

Financial Services Experience and Skills

• 2+ years in financial planning, wealth management, or retirement planning
• Proven track record of needs based selling and client relationship management
• Strong understanding of retirement planning concepts and investment management
• Experience working with pre-retirees and retirees preferred

Client Focused Approach

• Natural ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
• Self motivated with a consultative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
• Comfortable with technology and thrives in a fast paced startup environment

Nice to Have

• CFP, ChFC, Series 65, or similar credentials
• Experience in the senior market
• Fintech or tech enabled financial services experience
