Vice President, Global Investment Banking, Power, Utilities & Infrastructure

Join RBC as a Vice President in the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure group.

• Execute a broad range of M&A advisory and financing transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients.
• Develop financial models forecasting operating and financial results such as earnings, cash flow, and credit metrics.
• Create marketing materials to support transaction execution such as confidential information memorandums and teasers.
• Conduct in-depth research to develop expertise in the industries covered, staying aware of trends, market participants, and opportunities.
• Partner with clients and third‑party consultants to perform due diligence on transactions.
• Work across all industries within the sector, including Energy Transition, Utilities, and Infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience building financial models and analyzing financial statements.
• Prior experience in investment banking, with involvement in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Ability to conduct independent research on industry and company trends.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
