Overview

The Mac-Haydn Theatre (Chatham, NY) is seeking a drummer for the upcoming 2026 summer season. In hopes of engaging with musicians in the Hudson Valley and Albany area, local artists are encouraged to apply. MHT is a wonderful place for those looking to build their resume, play a lot of music, gain experience, and build relationships with other musicians. Musicians available for the full season are preferred but not required.

• Experience playing for musical theatre
• Experience reading notated and specific drum parts
• Able to follow and take tempos from a music director
• Knowledge of a wide range of styles including pop, rock, R&B, soul, etc.
• Candidates with experience in both orchestral percussion and drum set preferred, but all candidates will be considered.

• $525/wk
• $100 Travel Stipend
• Shared Housing
