This festival department focuses on selling all Wasserman Music acts to fairs, festivals, city events, concert series and soft-ticket public events around the world. We do so by building relationships with talent buyers globally and working with Wasserman artist teams to help curate multi‑act events of every size across every musical genre.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long‑term career in festival booking, live events, or talent representation, and who is eager to build upon their understanding of the festival business from the inside out.
Summary Description- An Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to provide support to the agent in client and internal matters.
- Maintain accuracy of deal memos in booking system.
- Assist in building and tracking festival grids.
- Enter offers and related show details into the booking system.
- Liaise with relevant teams to complete fest‑related administration.
- Issue contracts for confirmed performances.
- Track unreturned contracts.
- Flag/review/address contract markups.
- Organize information and assets for festival announces and on sales.
- Create and send invoices for show‑related payments (deposits, balances, etc).
- Track unpaid deposits and balances; liaise with accounting team to ensure funds are received and allocated on time.
- Set and confirm meetings; maintain agent calendar.
- Manage inbound phone calls on behalf of agent.
- Book agent business travel as necessary.
- Submit agent expense reports.
- Support festival guest list requests.
- Track festival artwork approvals.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Base salary
: $47,500, plus bonus potential if applicable for role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
