ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER (EM)

At Cerbelli Creative, our team of producers, designers, and entertainment experts is responsible for over 80 live, high-end events annually. The Entertainment Manager will be part of the Events Department, working on their own project-based workload while supporting their other Entertainment Team Members and reporting to the Director of Events (department lead).

Are you that rare creative professional who can both dream up spectacular entertainment concepts AND flawlessly execute them? The EM oversees the full entertainment lifecycle - from conceptualization through execution - serving as the primary liaison between booking entities and performers on behalf of Cerbelli Creative's clients. This position requires expert management of diverse entertainment ranging from roaming acts to bands, musicians, DJs, magicians, cirque performers, and beyond, ensuring seamless integration into client events.

The EM will lead efforts to develop and maintain a cutting-edge database of entertainment concepts by researching market trends and innovations to preserve the company's status as an industry leader in event entertainment. They must be creative and enjoy working within a small, dynamic environment that is fast-paced and demanding. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

They will have the ability to work independently on related projects from conception to completion and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

The premier candidate will need to be great at supporting and managing creative teams and strategic partners alike, hardworking, and passionate about creativity and producing the best events. The process is key, and someone who really respects and understands that, although creativity needs freedom, it also needs to follow a framework and process to allow it to thrive.

• Design, produce, and manage social and corporate entertainment from concept through execution, including proposal development, presentation, production planning, and event day management
• Help pitch during client meetings and presentations to showcase entertainment concepts and secure business
• Keeping clean lines of communication with the Director of Events
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with entertainment agents, talent, and vendors
• Analyze industry trends to continually refresh our entertainment database with innovative concepts and pricing guidelines
• Negotiate contracts and manage the fulfillment of technical and hospitality rider requirements
• Prepare comprehensive production documentation, including show flows, schedules, and stage plots
• Oversee on-site entertainment production for events, providing leadership to support staff
• Assist with organizing special events, including scheduling and liaising with external service providers to coordinate facilities, equipment, and set-up
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all entertainment-related matters with Project Managers and strategic partners
• Maintain given budgets with attention to profitability and client satisfaction
• Promote Cerbelli Creative brands at industry events and networking opportunities
• Stay current with industry developments through continuing education, conferences, workshops, and professional networks
• Maintain, develop, and grow relationships with agents, vendors & talent
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate workflow for entertainment-related projects
• Some travel required, nationally and internationally, as needed

• 4+ years of experience in entertainment management & event production
• Expert knowledge of technical production and staging requirements
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and client presentation skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and budget management abilities
• Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to use good judgment to prioritize work, completing projects rapidly
• Understanding of audio/visual requirements and production terminology
• Proven track record of producing multiple complex projects
• Must be able to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and accuracy
