The Fraud and Risk Senior Associate is primarily responsible for reviewing and resolving complex and sensitive cases related to customer fraud contacts across the platform.
The Fraud and Risk Senior Associate will alsoassistin the training and development of team members, as well as assist in the development of policies and procedures related to fraud prevention.
This role requires intermediate to advanced experience in customer service as well as,intermediate to advanced understanding of existing and emerging fraud risks within Daily Fantasy Sports, online gaming, or related industries.
Fraud and Risk Senior Associates must pass required licensing as mandated by various state gaming and racing regulatory bodies.
Failure to be licensed orretainlicensure will result in termination of employment.
This position reports into the Fraud and Risk Support Supervisor.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN

- Deliver outstanding fraud support to our growing community of avid sports fans
- Identify and implement improvements to processes to enhance fraud detection and support case handling
- Conduct detailed investigation of various fraud cases and gather evidence to support findings
- Perform advanced account due diligence and take necessary actions (change user status, refund, credit etc.) to mitigatefurtherloss
- Collaborate with other departments (CXR, Compliance, Responsible Gaming,CSetc.) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and communications
- Work with cross-functional Fraud and Payments teams toidentifyand mitigate fraud risks
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on emerging fraud trends and prevention efforts
- Train and coach junior team members on fraud support,fraud detection, andcasehandlingtechniques
- Additional tasks and projects as required by Supervisor or Manager
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- A minimum of 1 yearof fraud experience in Daily Fantasy Sports or related online gaming, sports betting/e-commerce fields preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting,finance,criminal justice, orrelated fields preferred
- Must be able to obtain required licenses as mandated by various state gaming and racing regulatory bodies
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of online gaming fraud schemes and categories as well as common fraud prevention strategies and systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical ability; SQL experience preferred
- Proven experience with help desk software (Salesforce, Oracle etc.) and payment processors (Braintree, Pay Pal etc.) preferred
- Willing and able to work flexible hours that include nights and weekends
- Passion for sports and/or gaming industry is a plus
