We are hiring a senior engineering leader to own the full engineering roadmap and execution for our product suite infrastructure. You will sit at the top of engineering, work closely with founders and the leadership team, and build the engineering leadership layer as we scale.

This is a high-impact role:
From architecture decisions to developer experience, compliance, delivery and scaling. You shape our technical foundation and long-term velocity.

• Technical strategy & architecture – Be the main decision maker for long term technical architecture decisions, from smart contracts to infrastructure and engineering processes
• Establish platform abstractions and boundaries to enable rapid iteration without compromising architecture
• Be the ultimate reviewer for all engineering design docs and architecture docs
• Over time - propose novel products, protocols and infrastructure solutions for our customers problems proactively

• Delivery & execution – Drive end-to-end delivery from design through launch and iteration
• Implement and enforce engineering processes: planning, estimation, incident response, post-mortems and continuous improvement
• Ensure systems meet high SLAs, security standards and regulatory requirements

• Team building & engineering culture – Lead and develop engineers and engineering managers and help the transition into an AI native team
• Build a culture of ownership, learning, psychological safety and high performance
• Design leveling, growth paths, feedback and review systems
• Coordinate with HR to define and execute recruiting, interviewing and onboarding processes for all engineering

• Developer experience & product integration – Collaborate with Product and Developer Relations to deliver high-quality APIs, SDKs, documentation, sandbox environments and integration tooling
• Engage with strategic customers to support deep integrations, onboarding and scaling

• Cross-functional leadership – Work closely with Compliance, Risk and Legal to ensure regulatory output is reflected in architecture and product design
• Partner with Go-To-Market and Finance teams to support product positioning, pricing, and strategic growth
• Represent engineering in board/investor conversations when needed

• 10 years of coding experience (professionally, or hacking at home)
• Proven experience managing teams of at least 25 engineers
• Proven track record leading teams in critical payments or fintech infrastructure, where an engineering mistake can be existential for the company
