Planner Field Coordinator IV
A Mechanical SAP Planner creates, schedules, and manages maintenance work orders, material requirements, and resource allocation within the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module. They perform field walks to develop detailed job plans, BOMs, and safety documents to minimize equipment downtime. Typical requirements include 3+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment and proficiency in SAP.
Key Responsibilities- SAP Work Order Management: Create, update, and manage maintenance notifications, work orders, task lists, and preventive maintenance (PM) plans in SAP.
- Job Planning & Estimation: Develop detailed job plans, including labor, materials, tools, and contractor requirements.
- Field Coordination: Conduct site visits to verify equipment, scope jobs, and ensure job safety analysis (JSA).
- Resource & Material Management: Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure part availability and manage inventory.
- Scheduling & Optimization: Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize work, minimize downtime, and manage shutdowns/turnarounds.
- Education: High School Diploma (minimum); technical degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in mechanical maintenance, planning, or scheduling within a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong proficiency in SAP (PM module) and CMMS systems. - Knowledge: Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.
- Safety Focus: Strict adherence to HSE and MOC processes.
- Communication: Effective coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
