Position Title: Architectural Designer / Engineer
Location: New York City
About the Role:
A growing architectural and engineering firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Designer I / Engineer I to support restoration and structural repair projects across New York City. This role involves drafting façade and garage drawings—including elevations, sections, and repair details—and requires a solid understanding of waterproofing systems used in existing buildings and parking garages.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of experience who enjoys technical detailing and working closely with both architects and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed drawings for façades and garages, including elevations, sections, and repair plans
- Draft and develop restoration and waterproofing details for building envelope and structural repair projects
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements
- Assist in specifying materials and repair scopes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years of professional drafting experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems and their application in restoration projects
- Experience preparing technical details and specifications for façade and garage repairs
- Excellent attention to detail and strong collaboration skills
Salary Range:
$60,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience
