Techno is seeking a Document Control Specialist to support a major interstate transportation infrastructure program operating within a highly regulated agency environment. This role ensures strict version control, workflow integrity, and audit readiness across engineering and construction documentation.
What You’ll Do- Administer document workflows including submittals, RFIs, design packages, transmittals, and correspondence.
- Maintain strict version control and naming conventions in compliance with agency standards.
- Manage electronic document management systems (EDMS) and permission protocols.
- Track review cycles and overdue items; expedite bottlenecks to maintain schedule integrity.
- Prepare weekly document status reports and workflow dashboards.
- Support contract closeout by ensuring complete, traceable documentation archives.
- Act as liaison between consultants, contractors, and agency reviewers for document routing.
- 3–7 years of document control experience within engineering, infrastructure, or construction environments.
- Proficiency with EDMS platforms such as Project Wise, Aconex, eBuilder, Unifier, or SharePoint.
- Strong organizational rigor and ability to manage high‑volume documentation workflows.
- Familiarity with public agency compliance processes preferred.

The expected salary range for this role in New York is $65,000 - $105,000 per year. The total compensation, including salary and bonuses, is determined by various factors such as experience, skill level, location, and qualifications, which are evaluated during the interview process.
